>Betsy is a Mediator and a Divorce Transition Coach at The Divorce Collaborative LLC. As a seasoned practitioner with a psychotherapy background, she helps clients through the emotional aspects of the divorce process and serves as a resource to other professionals at the firm. Although we don’t provide therapy here at The Divorce Collaborative LLC, Betsy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Group Psychotherapist with extensive experience working with divorcing individuals and couples.
Betsy is active in the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. Betsy has been interviewed on radio and television, and has lectured and conducted numerous training seminars at organizations and universities, including Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, MIT Family Resource Center, Harvard Medical Center and the Boston Center for Adult Education.
Betsy has also authored articles on coaching, including The Art of Holding Effective Collaborative Meetings which was published in the Fall 2007 issue of the Collaborative Law Journal of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and has been a popular guest blogger here at The Divorce Collaborative.
Currently a Doctoral candidate at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, she also has a Masters of Social Work from Fordham University.
